Muséoparc Vanier Museopark is a non-profit museum dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Quartier Vanier and the French-speaking population of Ottawa. It also operated the only urban sugar shack in all of Canada. Muséoparc Vanier Museopark is located in the Richelieu Park, a park of 17 acres located just a few minutes from downtown. It is the only francophone museum in Ottawa and one of the rare Canadian museums outside of Quebec dedicated to the French-speaking community.
